About Us

i blog on life was created to provide a place for people to share and connect through stories that are enjoyable and useful.

I am a wife, a mom and  a writer.   I have a degree in BS Administration.  Graduated from a private university and in my last semester of my senior year, I discovered that I can easily get myself in trouble by saying exactly what I feel and think to just about anyone who was willing to listen.  With the help of my professor, he patiently  guided me into channeling all my convictions into words ….on paper.  Through lots of reprimands and annoyances, that same professor ended up giving me a grade of 4.0

So I was going to embark on a life of travel and European cultured life with the help of my grandmother .  She had actually found a home for us to live out my young innocent life in Paris France.  But….my life took a turn and instead I found myself getting married and a baby in the same year.

To make a long story short, I ended up in the US, a single mom starting out all over again.  I have been a receptionist, operations supervisor, product manager and actually attained my goal of becoming a Regional Sales Manager.

It was truly a struggle.  I just hope that my children feel that I was somewhat of a success in motherhood.  It was all about work, paying the bills and making sure my girls were being provided for. I completely forgot all about the elation I felt as I wrote my papers for my college professor.

After a day from hell, and my daughters had gone to bed, I just collapsed into blissful nothing.  I was so tired I could not even think.  As I stared into nothing, something happened and suddenly I found myself in front of my computer.  I worked into the early hours of the morning and finished…no actually completed a workbook I called Youth Empowerment Seminars…YES!

The next morning, I brought my copy to work and asked five people to read it and comment on the writing and content…all of them gave me a “perfect” score on both counts.  I count that night as one of the best moments of my life.

So whatever happened to my workbook?  I did 8 free seminars, for a count of 62 young adults.  Teachers and the young adults loved it but a strong parent teacher association killed it due to my quotations from foreign authors.  Nevertheless, it was a major accomplishment for me.

Kind of long introduction just to say I am a writer.  But words are cheap and so I wanted to give you a highlighted picture of how much writing means to me.

Writing is a passion for me which means  I will do my very best to give you, my audience – an enjoyable experience through… I blog on life
